2017-2018 Tuition

45 minute class:

Tuition includes: 30 weeks of classes, a recital costume and HST.

    Single payment - $830 dated September 1, 2017
    Instalment 1 - $290 dated September 1, 2017
    Instalment 2 - $270 dated November 1, 2017
    Instalment 3 - $270 dated February 1, 2018

12 week sessions

Folk Dance (Students ages 7 & up who are also registered in a ballet class)

Tuition includes: 12 weeks of classes, character skirt and HST.

    Single payment - $250 dated January 15, 2018.
    Please email the school to register for the Folk Dance session.

Twinkle Twos

Tuition includes: 12 weeks of classes and HST.

Early registration discount - $30 off per family before July 15, 2017
Multiple class discount - $50 off second class
Sibling discount - $50 off sibling's class

No discounts after the first week of classes. Discounts will be applied to first instalment/single payment. Discounts apply to full year classes only.

All fees include HST.

Payment Policies:

All payments must be submitted with completed registration form in order for registration to be considered complete..

The registration form can be scanned and emailed to or mailed to Leaside Dance School, 119-660 Eglinton Ave. East, Suite 204, Toronto ON M4G 2K2. A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of registration. Credit card information can also be submitted by phone.

By providing your credit card information, you authorize Leaside Dance School to charge your credit card the tuition according to the payment option dates you have chosen on the registration form and to retain the last four digits of your credit card number for verification purposes.

Please make cheques payable to ‘Leaside Dance School’.Please send e-transfer with scanned registration form to After September 1, 2017 payment will ONLY be accepted by credit card.

It is your responsibility to provide Leaside Dance School with up-to-date billing information including lost or stolen credit cards, expired cards, etc. In the case of a declined credit card, a 7 day period is available for you to provide the school with updated payment information. If unresolved, a $30 service charge will apply.

If payment by credit card or cheque is not received by the first day of classes, your child will not be permitted in class until payment is received.

There is a $30 service charge for N.S.F. cheques for any reason.

Tuition is not transferrable to other family members.

Withdrawal Policies:

A full refund will be issued for students who withdraw before September 1, 2017.

Students who withdraw after September 1, 2017 and within the first two weeks of classes will be issued a full refund minus a $100 withdrawal fee.

Students who withdraw after the first two weeks of classes will be refunded according to the instalment dates.No refunds after February 1, 2018.

In order to withdraw from the school you must provide written notice at least five business days before the next payment is processed.

School Policies:

Parents and caregivers are responsible for the safe transport of their child to and from classes. Students should arrive 5-10 minutes early and are expected to be picked up promptly after class.

The waiting areas are shared spaces. When using these spaces, parents, caregivers and students are expected to wait quietly and keep the space clean for everyone's enjoyment.

Your child is welcome to make up any missed classes by attending the same class level on another day, if available. Please notify the school if you wish to attend a make-up class.

Students are not permitted to switch classes after October 15, 2017. Any student who wishes to switch classes may only do so with the Director's approval.

Leaside Dance School reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any class due to low enrollment.

It is always helpful to let the school know if your child will be absent from class (illness, vacation, etc).

If students miss more than three classes after March 1, participation in the recital will be at the Director's discretion.

In cases of extreme weather, classes may be cancelled/rescheduled and we will notify you by email.

The program strives to be nut-free. Please keep this in mind if bringing snacks to class.
